- 1.2. We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms at any time and for any reason at our sole discretion. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on the website. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Intellectual Property & Digital Rights
- 2.1. All content on this website, including but not limited to downloadable PDF patterns, video lessons, online courses, text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the exclusive property of JThouse and is protected by international copyright laws.
- 2.2. Personal Use Only: When you purchase a digital product (course or pattern), you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use only.
- 2.3. Strict Prohibitions: You are strictly prohibited from copying, distributing, sharing, reselling, translating, or uploading any of our digital materials to any public or private platforms (including group buys, forums, or social media). Sharing your account credentials to allow multiple users access to online courses is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination of account access without a refund.
3. User Accounts & Security
- 3.1. To purchase products or access online courses, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- 3.2. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account password and restricting access to your devices. JThouse cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with account security.
4. Purchases, Prices, and Payment
- 4.1. All prices displayed on the website are subject to change without prior notice. However, prices for confirmed and paid orders remain fixed.
- 4.2. We accept secure payments via international bank cards, PayPal, and other payment gateways integrated into the checkout interface. All financial transactions are encrypted and processed by authorized third-party payment providers.
5. Digital Products Policy (No Refunds)
- 5.1. Digital products, including online courses, interactive video lessons, and downloadable PDF patterns, are delivered electronically and automatically immediately after successful payment confirmation.
- 5.2. Final Sale: Due to the nature of intangible, instant-access digital content, all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable. Once access to a course is granted or a pattern is downloaded, the contract is considered fully executed, and no refunds, cancellations, or chargebacks will be accepted.
6. Physical Products, Shipping, and Returns
- 6.1. Physical goods (luxury Italian yarn, signature bundles, and standard DIY kits) are prepared and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment.
- 6.2. Custom & Tailored Orders: For custom-assembled kits, specialized color adjustments, or unique individual requests, preparation time may take longer. In such cases, we will contact you directly via email or messenger to agree upon specific production and shipping schedules.
- 6.3. International Shipping & Customs: We ship physical products worldwide using reliable carriers (Nova Poshta Global, UPS, FedEx, DPD, etc.). Estimated delivery dates are non-binding variables dependent on carrier performance and customs clearance. Import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- 6.4. Returns of Physical Items: Customers have the right to return standard, unopened physical products of proper quality within 14 calendar days from delivery. Items must be completely unused, undamaged, and in their original unbroken packaging.
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping fees and international customs charges. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Customized, custom-assembled, or personalized DIY kits are non-returnable unless they arrive defective.
7. Limitation of Liability
- 7.1. JThouse provides the website and its content on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
- 7.2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JThouse shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our digital or physical products.
8. Privacy and Data Security
- 8.1. We respect your privacy and process your personal information in strict accordance with international data protection standards and our Privacy Policy. Your data is used exclusively to fulfill orders, manage course access, and provide customer support.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- 9.1. These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, while respecting mandatory consumer protection regulations of the customer's country of residence where applicable.
- 9.2. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiations. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Ukraine, unless local consumer laws dictate a mandatory alternative jurisdiction.
